Monmouth in Wales is set to host a three-day music festival in August, touted as the world's first emission-free event. The festival aims to create a sustainable experience by offering affordable ticket prices starting at £180 with free camping and transportation. Organizers plan to support the local economy by giving over 60 percent of commercial stands to local traders and businesses. The event will accommodate over 45,000 people with a range of facilities including a 'village' setup with fire station, bus station, hospital, and more. Additionally, the festival will feature eco-friendly transportation such as hydrogen cars and buses. Security measures will be stringent with drug dogs, profilers, and 600 security staff. The lineup includes over 100 acts, with a focus on paying all performers. The event is expected to cost £9m but bring in a revenue of £28m to the town.
