During the event, CMD Gurdeep Singh launched Hydrogen-Fueled Buses, set to operate in Leh, highlighting NTPC's commitment to environmentally friendly technologies. Additionally, NTPC achieved a significant milestone by successfully converting CO2 from flue gas into methanol at the Vindhyachal Plant, a groundbreaking advancement in carbon management. The company also unveiled a new 50-year logo representing its legacy and everlasting dedication to growth and excellence. NTPC's focus on sustainability was further emphasized through its work on Gen-4 Ethanol, Green Urea, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel, along with the development of innovative technologies like the 'First Indigenous Catalyst' for Methanol Synthesis. The celebration also included recognition of children of NTPC employees, launch of new IT applications, and the release of a special comic book promoting the empowerment of the girl child.
