The partnership involves the deployment, marketing, and support of Viritech's VPT60N powertrain designed for on-road commercial vehicles. Nuvera will provide its E-Series hydrogen fuel cell engines for integration testing with Viritech's powertrain product line and offer technical support during the testing phase. Viritech is exploring the development of a high-power density fuel cell system based on Nuvera's stack technology to meet the demands of extreme automotive applications. Both companies aim to address the lack of integrated solutions hindering fuel cell adoption by providing established, efficient, and readily available fuel cell technology to customers. The Viritech VPT60N powertrain incorporates various Viritech technologies into a comprehensive power solution for OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and research bodies. The modular design of the powertrain allows for seamless integration across different applications with configurable power delivery and energy management.
