Wrightbus, a leading zero-emission bus pioneer, is expanding its presence in Europe after delivering 31 hydrogen buses to operator Regionalverkehr Köln Gmbh (RVK) in Germany. These buses are the first ever Wrightbus vehicles on European soil and are currently undergoing testing before being deployed in the Cologne region. The company, recognized as the fastest-growing bus manufacturer in Europe, is also securing deals in countries like France and Benelux. Additionally, Wrightbus recently signed a substantial deal to supply over 1,000 buses to operator Go-Ahead, with 90% of the buses being zero-emission. CEO Jean-Marc Gales commended the production team for their efforts and highlighted the significance of the European market for the company’s expansion plans. The establishment of a European service center in Bruhl reflects Wrightbus' commitment to providing maintenance and support services in the region.
