Alstom's introduction of the first hydrogen train in Rovato for operational and refueling tests represents a major milestone in sustainable rail transport. Following successful tests in Germany, the Coradia Stream H hydrogen train was showcased at the EXPO Ferroviaria exhibition in 2023, featuring advanced technology for energy efficiency and emissions reduction. With a passenger capacity of 260 and the ability to travel up to 660 kilometers without refueling, this innovative train offers a solution for regional routes, ensuring autonomy and sustainability in transportation. The contract between Alstom and FNM includes the delivery of eight hydrogen trains, with plans to potentially add six more by 2023.
