Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, introduced a groundbreaking self-driving aerial taxi service for pilgrims during the annual Hajj pilgrimage, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). This initiative marks the world's first licensed flying taxi under a civil aviation authority, highlighting Saudi Arabia's dedication to embracing cutting-edge transport solutions. The flying taxi is designed to efficiently transport pilgrims between holy sites, streamline the transfer of medical supplies and emergencies, and facilitate goods delivery.
