The National Green Hydrogen Mission aims to build a self-reliant green hydrogen ecosystem by 2030, with MSMEs playing a critical role. A national workshop in New Delhi gathered over 300 delegates to explore opportunities for MSMEs in the green hydrogen sector. Discussions focused on R&D collaboration models, indigenization of components, and integrating MSMEs into large-scale projects. Experts presented use cases on biomass conversion to hydrogen for rural industries, promoting decentralized models and circular economy principles. Financial institutions discussed strategies to de-risk investments and provide green credit lines accessible to MSMEs. The workshop showcased a positive outlook on India's green hydrogen future, with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and financial support for MSMEs.
