The 19th Eco Expo Asia, with the theme 'Fostering Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality', has commenced, hosting 190 officials from 40 official delegations to present cutting-edge green solutions. The event aims to facilitate discussions on sustainable futures and decarbonisation. Hong Kong's Secretary for Environment & Ecology emphasized the importance of green innovation in the decarbonisation journey, addressing the city's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The Environment & Ecology Bureau is actively participating, showcasing measures and achievements in decarbonisation through four exhibition zones. Notably, the expo features hydrogen fuel cell double-deckers rides to align with Hong Kong's Strategy of Hydrogen Development, promoting green living and environmental awareness. The final day of the expo will be open to the public for free to encourage engagement in environmental protection.
