Gensol Engineering Ltd. and Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd. have jointly secured the project to establish India's inaugural Green Hydrogen Valley in Pune. The initiative involves setting up a green hydrogen production plant on a Build Own and Operate basis to cater to the specialty chemical sector for the next two decades. Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd., expressed pride in developing this pioneering project, emphasizing the government's support in promoting Hydrogen Valleys. Chirag Kotecha, Whole-time Director at Matrix Gas and Renewables Ltd., highlighted the commitment towards achieving India's net-zero targets through the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The project, situated in the Kurkumbh region with the support of National Chemicals Laboratories, is expected to advance green hydrogen generation, applications, and research facilities. The collaboration between Gensol and Matrix extends beyond green hydrogen, encompassing domains like Green Steel and Green Ammonia, leveraging the expertise of both entities. This endeavor signifies a significant step towards fostering the green hydrogen economy in India and aligns with the nation's sustainability goals.
