India's Leadership in Decarbonization: Green Fuels Export Partnership with DP World
Key Ideas
- AM Green and DP World partnership aims to export 2 MTPA of green ammonia and green methanol globally, enhancing decarbonization efforts.
- The collaboration includes developing port, bunkering, and terminal infrastructure across various regions to support a sustainable supply chain for green fuels and chemicals.
- AM Green targets 5 MTPA of production capacity by 2030, contributing significantly to India's net-zero goals and supporting global decarbonization.
- Both companies express commitment to driving sustainable supply chains and facilitating the global distribution of clean fuels to advance towards a low-carbon economy.
AM Green, a leader in green hydrogen and ammonia production, has partnered with DP World to create a sustainable supply chain for exporting green fuels and chemicals globally. Under a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the companies will jointly develop logistics and storage infrastructure to export 1 MTPA of green ammonia and 1 MTPA of green methanol. This partnership includes developing port infrastructure in AM Green Net-Zero Industrial Clusters, bunkering infrastructure in Dubai, India, and Southeast Asia, and terminal infrastructure in the European Union, Far East, and UAE. AM Green plans to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel, green ammonia, green hydrogen, and more using renewable energy sources. The company aims to reach a production capacity of 5 MTPA by 2030, with a significant investment in a 1 MTPA Green Ammonia plant in Kakinada, India. The collaboration between AM Green and DP World aims to facilitate the global movement of green molecules and enhance the green supply chain, supporting India's net-zero targets and global decarbonization goals.
