NEXTCHEM's subsidiary KT Tech has secured an agreement to provide licensing and a Process Design Package (PDP) for a new hydrogen production unit in the Dung Quat Refinery's expansion project in Vietnam. The capacity of the hydrogen production unit will be 22,676 cubic meters per hour, utilizing NX Reform™ hydrogen technology known for its cost-effective production and potential to reduce the carbon footprint by incorporating CO2 capture technology. The project aims to offer production adaptability by focusing on flexibility in feedstock and capacity, while ensuring high operational efficiency through the utilization of steam methane reforming methods. Once the project transitions to the construction phase, KT Tech will also supply the proprietary equipment required for the steam methane reforming process.
