Norwegian companies H2Carrier AS and Greenstat Hydrogen India (GHI) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on green hydrogen and ammonia projects in India and Sri Lanka. The partnership will involve the identification of potential projects, feasibility studies, and the establishment of production facilities. A key focus will be on utilizing H2Carrier's innovative P2XFloater technology for floating production solutions. H2Carrier's P2XFloater is recognized as the world's first floating unit designed for green ammonia production at an industrial scale. This technology offers flexibility in positioning and eliminates the need for land acquisition, storage tanks, pier construction, and operational concessions. Greenstat Hydrogen India (GHI), a division of the Norwegian company Greenstat ASA, was formed in 2020 with a specific focus on advancing green hydrogen and its by-products in the regions of Asia and the Middle East. This collaboration signifies a significant step towards promoting sustainable energy solutions and reducing carbon footprint in these target markets.
