Pertamina, in its commitment to accelerating the energy transition and supporting Indonesia's net-zero emissions target by 2060, has partnered with Hyundai Motor Asia Pacific HQ to develop a hydrogen ecosystem in the country. Pertamina is strategically mapping hydrogen supply sources in 17 locations and is actively working on a green hydrogen pilot project in the Ulubelu geothermal area. Additionally, the company is constructing a unique hydrogen refueling station in West Jakarta that will offer gasoline, natural gas, and hydrogen fuels. The collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company aims to advance hydrogen technology in Indonesia's transportation sector, promoting decarbonization efforts and clean energy use.
