In Peru, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Rómulo Mucho, announced plans to expedite the energy transition by amending Law No. 28832 to facilitate the entry of non-conventional renewable energies into the national energy generation market, potentially unlocking a portfolio of projects amounting to 20,000 megawatts.
