HRS, a French designer and manufacturer specializing in hydrogen refueling stations, has joined forces with Element 2, a key player in the sector, to accelerate the development of hydrogen mobility in the United Kingdom. The collaboration involves the installation of an HRS14 hydrogen station in Darlington at Teesside International Airport. Element 2, founded in 2020, is working on establishing a large-scale national hydrogen refueling station network in the UK and Ireland to cater to the needs of commercial fleet operators and individuals transitioning to zero-emission mobility. The project, supported by a grant from Innovate UK, will supply green hydrogen to facilitate trials of commercial vans, passenger cars, and airside support vehicles.
