AM Green has entrusted Rely with engineering services for its one million ton per year green ammonia complex in Kakinada, India. The project involves the conversion of an existing grey ammonia facility to a green one, with a focus on decarbonization and export to the European market. Rely will provide comprehensive services for the facility, including green hydrogen production, nitrogen units, ammonia synthesis, storage, and loading facilities. The project has received CertifHY pre-certification for green ammonia, marking a significant milestone for Indian projects. Both companies express excitement about the collaboration, highlighting its role in advancing India's green hydrogen mission and supporting net-zero targets. AM Green plans to expand its green ammonia production across India to achieve 5 mtpa capacity by 2030, contributing to India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and Europe's green hydrogen import targets.
