Battolyser Systems, the manufacturer of an innovative electrolyser with battery functionality, has successfully raised €30 million in Series A funding from Global Cleantech Capital, Innovation Industries, and Invest-NL. This funding will be utilized to expand operations and introduce the next-generation electrolyser in 2025. The unique Battolyser® technology can be activated and deactivated in sync with intermittent renewable energy sources. Its exceptional flexibility enables the creation of new business models, ultimately leading to a reduction in the cost of green hydrogen production and helping alleviate grid congestion. The upcoming Battolyser model will be available as a 2.5MW plug-and-play skid and 5MW modules that come integrated with a Balance of Plant on site, simplifying deployment and operation for users.
