Hyvia, a joint venture between Renault Group and Plug, has teamed up with hydrogen mobility provider Hype to accelerate the adoption of decarbonised hydrogen mobility in and around Paris, France. The primary objective of this partnership is to drive down the cost of hydrogen (H2) and associated services while enhancing the overall hydrogen supply chain. The collaboration between Hyvia and Hype covers various aspects of H2 mobility, including supplying decarbonised hydrogen, establishing H2 refuelling stations, and offering hydrogen-powered vehicles. Hyvia will be responsible for delivering hydrogen produced at its Flins plant to Hype's filling stations, thereby strengthening the hydrogen supply network in the French capital. Additionally, Hyvia will introduce two new hydrogen refuelling stations to the Hype network, although the terms of this addition (rented or purchased) were not specified. This strategic partnership signifies a significant step towards promoting sustainable transportation through the utilization of hydrogen technology.
