Lhyfe, a green and renewable hydrogen producer based in Nantes, France, and Masdar, a clean energy leader from the UAE, have joined forces to explore co-development opportunities in large-scale green hydrogen production projects in Europe. This partnership, initiated through a formal MoU signed at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025, aims to collaborate on investment opportunities along the green hydrogen value chain, focusing on large projects. Lhyfe, established in 2019, has already demonstrated its industrial capacity with multiple operational sites and a pipeline of projects totaling 9.5GW. Masdar, with a goal to achieve a renewable energy capacity of 100GW by 2030, is targeting significant green hydrogen production globally. Both companies expressed enthusiasm about leveraging their expertise to accelerate the deployment of large-scale green hydrogen projects, contributing to decarbonizing industries at scale and combating greenhouse gas emissions.
