Lhyfe, a green and renewable hydrogen producer, and Masdar, a clean energy leader, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore co-development opportunities in large-scale green hydrogen production projects in Europe. The collaboration was announced at the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025, highlighting the companies' shared ambitions to drive and develop the green hydrogen sector. Lhyfe, with its proven track record in green hydrogen production, has multiple projects in the pipeline, including several large-scale ventures. Masdar, aiming for a significant renewable energy portfolio by 2030, sees green hydrogen as a key focus area and intends to produce 1 million tonnes per annum globally within a decade. The partnership between Masdar and Lhyfe aims to accelerate the deployment of large-scale green hydrogen projects to combat greenhouse gas emissions and advance industry decarbonization. Both companies expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, citing shared expertise and a common goal of driving sustainable energy solutions.
