Scatec ASA's Egypt Green Hydrogen project, in partnership with Fertiglobe, Orascom Construction, The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, and the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, has reached a significant milestone with the securing of a green ammonia offtake agreement in Germany through the H2Global auction. Fertiglobe and Egypt Green Hydrogen have signed a 20-year ammonia offtake agreement at the Egypt-EU Investment Conference. Scatec, the lead developer, will provide EPC services and operate the project in collaboration with key partners. The project aims to select an electrolyser supplier and finalize project financing with support from renowned institutions.
