An Arab-European workshop held in Alexandria, Egypt, lauded Qatar's leadership in green hydrogen technology. The workshop, organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in collaboration with the European Union and the Transport and Tourism Department of the Arab League, focused on Qatar's achievements in green hydrogen. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, the President of the Academy, highlighted Qatar's exemplary efforts in building a green hydrogen supply chain and emphasized the importance of sharing these experiences with other Arab countries. Dr. Sarah Al-Jazzar praised Qatar's technological capabilities in green hydrogen production and transportation, underscoring the country's commitment to sustainable development. The workshop also showcased green hydrogen projects from various Arab nations, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Overall, the event emphasized collaboration between Arab and European entities to advance green hydrogen technology, promote sustainable development, and support the transport sector's sustainability in the Arab world.
