TEAL Mobility has become the eighth member of the H2Accelerate collaboration, bringing ambitious plans to deploy more than 100 hydrogen refuelling stations for heavy-duty vehicles across major European road corridors in the next 10 years. The joint venture between Air Liquide and TotalEnergies, TEAL Mobility, aims to operate around 20 hydrogen refuelling stations in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany by the end of 2024. This partnership focuses on scaling up green hydrogen as a fuel for heavy-duty vehicles to meet the European Union's 2030 CO2 targets. The H2Accelerate collaboration, which includes key players in the industry, sees TEAL Mobility as a significant addition to drive the future hydrogen mobility ecosystem in Europe. The spokesperson for H2Accelerate emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to accelerate green hydrogen deployment, aligning with TEAL Mobility's commitment to establishing a pan-European hydrogen refuelling network. TEAL Mobility's CEO highlighted the necessity of cooperation between infrastructure providers and vehicle OEMs to ensure the growth of both supply and demand for hydrogen trucking, ultimately shaping a sustainable hydrogen future.
