Toyota Motor Europe has joined forces with Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS) and ENGIE to pioneer a groundbreaking hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in an effort to revolutionize the way hydrogen is used in transport. The partnership is set to introduce a fast, versatile, and cost-efficient system that incorporates Twin Mid Flow Technology, allowing for quicker refuelling of both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles. This innovation aims to address the challenge of expanding the hydrogen supply infrastructure, particularly in meeting the EU's regulations for deploying publicly accessible hydrogen stations every 200km along the TEN-T networks by 2030. By significantly reducing refuelling times and installation costs, the new system is a crucial step towards achieving sustainable transport objectives.
