The H2Med project, a collaborative effort involving France, Spain, Portugal, and potentially Germany, plans to establish a hydrogen corridor capable of transporting around two million tonnes annually. This initiative not only contributes to decarbonisation but also enhances energy security and autonomy in Europe. The development of infrastructure for hydrogen transmission and consumption, however, necessitates a supportive framework and tailored financing mechanisms to ensure efficient connectivity between supply and demand.
