Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is focusing on revitalizing the state post-bifurcation through significant investments in green energy and green hydrogen. During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Naidu expressed his vision to transform Andhra Pradesh into a hub of innovation and sustainability, leading in the adoption of green energy and green hydrogen technologies. He acknowledged the disparity between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana post-bifurcation and emphasized the need to rebuild the state's institutions and brand. Naidu highlighted the importance of integrating sustainable energy solutions with advanced infrastructure to meet the growing demand for green hydrogen. He plans to attract Rs 10 lakh crores investment in green hydrogen and create 7.5 lakh job opportunities in the sector. With Andhra Pradesh's geographical advantages like a 1,000 km sea coast, various energy sources, and operational ports, Naidu envisions the state as a logistics hub for green energy products. Naidu's approach includes developing robust infrastructure comprising ports, airports, railways, and inland waterways to support the growth of green energy industries and facilitate exports.
