In a groundbreaking collaboration, Windcat, Europe’s leading offshore personnel transfer company, has partnered with Anglo-Eastern and Damen Shipyards to order six Elevation Series CSOVs powered by hydrogen. These vessels, to be operated by Windcat, will stay in offshore wind farms for up to 30 days, accommodating 90 technicians in hotel-style facilities. The CSOVs, equipped with state-of-the-art features including motion-compensated gangways and living quarters, are designed to meet the highest safety and operational standards. Notably, these vessels will be the first of their kind to operate using hydrogen, aligning with CMB.TECH's commitment to decarbonising the shipping industry. The collaboration between Windcat, Anglo-Eastern, and CMB.TECH signifies a shared goal of promoting sustainable maritime solutions.
