The first joint venture, a 50:50 partnership with Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India Private Ltd (SGHIPL), will focus on developing renewable energy and green hydrogen projects in India. This collaboration aims to develop, construct, and operate projects related to renewable energy and green hydrogen, including their derivatives, with a focus on sales across the country. Additionally, BPCL has sanctioned another joint venture with GPS Renewables Private Ltd to establish compressed biogas (CBG) plants throughout India. This collaboration, also a 50:50 partnership, will involve the construction, operation, and maintenance of CBG plants, including the sale of CBG and its derivatives. These ventures mark BPCL's commitment to diversifying its operations and supporting India's energy transition efforts.
