AM Green, a green hydrogen and ammonia producer under the Greenko Group, and DP World, a global logistics major, have entered into a partnership to develop storage and logistics facilities for 2 million tonnes of green fuel per year. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two companies involves jointly developing logistics and storage infrastructure to enable the global export of 1 million tonnes per annum of green ammonia and 1 million tonnes per annum of green methanol. AM Green is focused on multiple projects in India, utilizing renewable energy sources to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel, green ammonia, green hydrogen, chemicals, and biofuels. They aim to achieve a renewable fuel production capacity of 5 million tonnes per year over the next five years. The partnership with DP World will allow efficient export of green fuels, supporting the global shift to a low-carbon economy. By establishing terminal infrastructure in key regions like the EU, Far East, and UAE, the agreement aims to provide the necessary zero carbon supply chain to aid the maritime sector in transitioning to a low-carbon economy. Both companies expressed their commitment to playing a vital role in enabling a low-carbon economy and advancing global sustainability goals.
