EnVision 2025, India's first energy festival, is set to host its third edition from January 30 to February 1, 2025, in Chennai. Organized by IIT Madras Research Park and the India Energy Storage Alliance, the event's theme 'Ground Zero for Net-Zero' underscores the critical need for collaborative efforts to achieve a sustainable, net-zero future. The festival will convene experts, innovators, and global stakeholders to delve into grassroots and technological solutions for the climate crisis. Sessions, workshops, and panel discussions will cover topics like renewable energy, climate policy, and sustainability. Renowned climate activist Sonam Wangchuk will share insights on sustainable development. Dignitaries from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and industry experts from organizations like First Solar, Indian Oil, and JSW will contribute to the discussions on clean energy solutions. EnVision 2025 will also focus on technological areas crucial to India's energy future, including Green Buildings, Electric Mobility, and Green Hydrogen. The event will feature a startup pitch competition 'Pitch to Win,' showcasing climate tech innovations. Additionally, a short film on climate change impacts on Pulicat Lake, featuring community members and actors like Adithi Balan and Charles Vinoth, will be screened. This transformative three-day gathering aims to drive India towards a sustainable and economically viable energy future, inviting all stakeholders to participate in accelerating climate action.
