Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with H2Global Stiftung to establish a collaborative framework aimed at promoting green hydrogen initiatives in India. The partnership seeks to facilitate knowledge exchange on market-based mechanisms and enhance cooperation between India and importing countries. This strategic move is set to contribute significantly to the global progress of the green hydrogen economy. The MoU signing ceremony, which took place on November 19, 2024, involved key personalities from both entities, signaling a strong commitment to the collaboration. One of the primary objectives of this partnership is to enable India to develop joint tender design concepts, specifically focusing on aligning these tenders with India's aspirations of becoming a leading exporter of green hydrogen and its by-products.
