The partnership aims to utilize Accelera's expertise in new energy solutions and GAIL's natural gas infrastructure to explore opportunities in green energy, including hydrogen production, blending, transportation, and storage. GAIL, a leading Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has accelerated its 'net zero' targets to 2035, making this collaboration a significant step in India's energy transition efforts. GAIL has previously commissioned a 10 MW Green Hydrogen unit and conducted successful pilot studies on blending hydrogen in CNG/PNG networks, with plans to expand these initiatives.
