GAIL (India) Limited was honored with the Green Hydrogen Project of the Year-India award at the Asian Oil & Gas Awards 2024 for their pioneering 4.3 TPD Green Hydrogen pilot project located in Vijaipur, Madhya Pradesh. The project, led by GAIL directors Deepak Gupta and Rajeev Kumar Singhal, was acknowledged for its contribution to sustainability and innovation in the energy sector. The project, which incorporates a 10 MW Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Electrolyser, is designed to produce exceptionally pure hydrogen, supporting India's National Green Hydrogen Mission. This initiative not only marks a significant milestone in GAIL's journey towards achieving Net Zero emissions but also positions India as a key player in the global green hydrogen market. The award ceremony held in Singapore on 22nd October 2024 highlighted GAIL's dedication to excellence and their successful implementation of environmentally friendly solutions.
