India and Germany continue to strengthen their collaboration towards green and sustainable development. Recently, the two nations agreed on the second phase of the Green Urban Mobility Partnership, following the launch of the Green Hydrogen Roadmap in New Delhi. Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany visited BITS PILANI in Goa to engage with students and faculty members. The Chancellor highlighted the significance of information exchange between India and Germany to support India's energy transition and promote a cleaner future. Discussions during the visit focused on various aspects like international cooperation, education, innovation, and the role of young people in shaping the future. Several student projects, including electric vehicles, robotics, aerospace innovations, and astronomy initiatives, were showcased to the Chancellor, demonstrating the students' dedication to addressing real-world challenges.
