Notably, the Chief Minister mentioned the allocation of Rs 2,240 crores in the Union Budget for green hydrogen production, aiming for India to become the world's third-largest producer of renewable energy. The state government's initiatives include the promotion of electric vehicles, with a substantial increase in sales and the introduction of the EV Policy-2021. The MATTER Company's electric motorbike plant, with a capacity to produce 1.20 lakh units annually, symbolizes Gujarat's strides towards sustainable growth and a cleaner environment.
