The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh virtually presided over the closing ceremony of the International Minjar Fair in Shimla, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of various developmental projects totaling Rs 120.44 crore. During the event, he also virtually performed the foundation stone laying of a pilot project for a green hydrogen mobility station in Chamba. This initiative, costing around Rs 14 crore and led by the National Hydel Power Corporation (NHPC), aims to establish Chamba as the first district in the state to have a green hydrogen project. The project will include a solar power plant to produce green hydrogen for buses, with plans to introduce green hydrogen buses to the region for the first time. This move aligns with the government's vision to make Himachal Pradesh a 'Green Energy State' by March 2026, focusing on promoting green industry and economic development.
