In partnership with a leading Korean Fuel Cell Technology firm and Indian industry partner Lotus Wireless Private Limited, HSL's initiative aims to provide a sustainable alternative to traditional diesel-powered systems in maritime applications. The hydrogen fuel cells, ranging from 250 KW to 2-MW, are fully class-certified and adaptable to various marine platforms including ferries, tugs, and other vessels. At the recent SIAM event in New Delhi, Union minister Nitin Gadkari stressed the significance of green hydrogen for India's energy future, highlighting the government's dedication to sustainable solutions. HSL's collaboration ensures that the introduced technology adheres to global safety and efficiency standards while promoting domestic industry participation through the Make in India initiative.
