In a strategic collaboration, IIT Bombay and HSBC India have shortlisted six pioneering projects to drive advancements in green hydrogen technologies. The projects selected aim to revolutionize hydrogen production, storage, and utilization. These include innovations such as indigenous hydrogen storage systems, cost-effective generators, and alternative burners to enhance air quality in urban areas of India. The partnership emphasizes a joint effort to support India's National Green Hydrogen Mission, which seeks to transform the country's energy landscape. By 2030, the government plans to achieve a green hydrogen production capacity of 5 million metric tonnes annually, positioning hydrogen as a key alternative fuel. This initiative signifies a commitment to sustainability and innovation, fostering a collaborative environment to accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen technologies in India.
