Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in bilateral discussions in New Delhi, focusing on enhancing India-UAE relations and identifying areas for future cooperation. The leaders signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), including agreements on nuclear cooperation, long-term LNG supply, and a food park project in Gujarat. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the success of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), while emphasizing the exploration of new opportunities in critical minerals, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence (AI), and cutting-edge technologies. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayad Al Nahyan also met with President Droupadi Murmu during the visit. In addition to the discussions in New Delhi, the upcoming India-UAE Business Forum in Mumbai aims to provide a platform for business leaders and officials from both countries to discuss future collaboration. The forum will witness the participation of corporate leaders and a business delegation from the UAE. Furthermore, a soft launch of the India-UAE virtual trade corridor (VTC) and the MAITRI interface, designed to facilitate VTC operations, will take place in Mumbai, demonstrating the commitment to strengthening economic ties between India and the UAE.
