The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Clean Economy Investor Forum held in Singapore highlighted the participation of 10 Indian companies, including start-ups, among the top 100 climate tech firms. The forum emphasized India's vast investment potential of over USD 500 billion in the clean energy sector by 2030, focusing on renewables, green hydrogen, EV, and infrastructure transition. Indian companies like ReNew Power, Avaada Energy, and others showcased their innovative concepts to global investors. Additionally, the forum witnessed the signing of an Offtake Agreement between Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India and Japanese companies for green ammonia production and export, supporting India's Green Hydrogen Mission. The forum's initiatives, including the IPEF Catalytic Capital Fund and commitments from investors like Singapore's Temasek and GIC, aim to drive sustainable infrastructure development in emerging markets. The event provided a platform for Indian companies to seek funding and collaborate with global investors, aligning with India's Net-Zero target by 2070.
