He emphasized India's potential in both green hydrogen production and export and outlined various initiatives by the Ministry to boost hydrogen production. Noteworthy developments include CIAL's collaboration with BPCL for a Green Hydrogen plant, IOCL providing a green hydrogen fuel cell bus to the Indian Navy, and GAIL establishing a hydrogen plant in Madhya Pradesh. The Minister detailed India's progress in the hydrogen sector, including achievements in production capacity and issued tenders for green hydrogen and green ammonia. India's strategic vision and competitive advantage in green hydrogen production were underscored, supported by the Green Hydrogen Policy and National Green Hydrogen Mission. The Minister also highlighted the role of states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala in promoting green hydrogen usage.
