The Minister highlighted the importance of fostering innovation in clean technologies to achieve global climate goals and lead the transition to a sustainable energy future. Additionally, he announced the upcoming inclusion of an Indian astronaut in the International Space Station, marking a significant milestone in Indo-US space cooperation. Dr Singh also discussed the government's focus on promoting Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) to support India's clean energy transition and climate commitments.
