The V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority in India has made a remarkable move by allocating 501 acres of land to four companies for Green Hydrogen projects. This allocation is part of the government's vision to develop the port as a Hydrogen hub, aiming to promote sustainable energy practices. Companies like Renew E-fuels Pvt. Ltd., Acme Green Hydrogen & Chemicals, Green Infra Renewal Energy Farms Pvt. Ltd., and Amplus Ganges Solar Pvt. Ltd. have been granted land for their Green Hydrogen initiatives, with allocations ranging from 10 to 310 acres each. These projects are set to drive sustainable energy development in the region and have garnered praise from top officials including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The investments planned by these companies, such as Acme Green Hydrogen & Chemicals' Rs. 27,000 crore investment in a Green Ammonia Plant, indicate a significant push towards renewable energy infrastructure. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal highlighted the potential of these projects to attract new investments and propel economic growth while aligning with India's renewable energy objectives. The V.O.
