Darsh Dronobotics Systems in New Delhi has partnered with Canada-based Trouvé Innovation Hub Inc. to develop a hydrogen-based five-seater air taxi. The collaboration aims to combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions in the mobility and aviation sector. The project supports India's net zero goals and ambition to lead the air taxi revolution by 2025. Trouvé Innovation Hub will play a key role in fundraising for the project, enabling the development of a full-scale prototype of the hydrogen air taxi. The air taxis are designed to offer quieter flights, zero emissions, and reduced operating costs compared to traditional aircraft. Capable of covering up to 600 kilometers, the air taxis will facilitate travel between cities like Delhi-NCR and Lucknow. The partnership combines expertise in drone and aviation technology with strengths in innovation and investment to drive the project forward. Beyond passenger transport, the hydrogen air taxis will be utilized for ambulance services, VIP escort, and disaster recovery operations, enhancing urban air mobility and emergency response capabilities. The initiative aims to introduce eco-friendly transportation technologies that benefit cities and communities worldwide, particularly addressing the challenges of congested roads, traffic, and pollution in Indian cities.
