This move separates the renewable EPC business from its Power Transmission & Distribution segment, highlighting the company's commitment to clean energy. The decision, effective from September 1, positions L&T to capitalize on the accelerating growth in the renewable EPC market. Chairman & Managing Director of L&T, S.N. Subrahmanyan, emphasized the organization's unique position in creating sustainable energy infrastructure and the benefits of increased autonomy and customer focus through the new vertical. The company's extensive portfolio of 22 GWp of renewable projects underscores its expertise in various areas like Ground Mounted Solar, Floating Solar, Wind Balance of Plant projects, and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Coupled with Grid and Digital Energy Solutions, L&T is known for timely and safe delivery of large-scale renewable projects. Globally, L&T is actively engaged in prominent renewable energy projects in Saudi Arabia, NEOM, Dubai, and India. The company's involvement in the construction of a green hydrogen plant at NEOM and a solar PV plant in the Amaala Project demonstrates its commitment to sustainable energy initiatives. In addition to its established presence in India and the Middle East, L&T is eyeing expansion into regions like SAARC, ASEAN, CIS, and African countries, where investments in renewable energy infrastructure are on the rise.
