Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for developmental projects worth Rs 2 trillion in Visakhapatnam, with a special emphasis on working closely with Andhra Pradesh to achieve the state's goals. One of the major projects unveiled was the NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project at Pudimadaka, expected to draw investments worth Rs 1.85 trillion. This initiative under the National Green Hydrogen Mission will involve renewable energy capacity and green hydrogen production facilities for various hydrogen derivatives. The focus will be on export markets and sustainable fuel options. Additionally, projects like the Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub and the bulk drug park were initiated to further economic growth. The aim is for Andhra Pradesh to reach a $2.5 trillion economy by 2047. Minister Nara Lokesh highlighted the government support received, including financial aid for key projects and initiatives. The development drive is set to create job opportunities and enhance infrastructure in the region, with a positive sentiment towards the future vision of transforming Andhra Pradesh.
