The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has entered into a partnership with Germany's H2Global Stiftung to drive the promotion of Green Hydrogen. The agreement, signed in November 2024, emphasizes collaboration on market-based mechanisms and global cooperation for a sustainable hydrogen economy. This MoU, signed by SECI's Director (Solar) and H2Global's Executive Director, aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance cooperation between India and hydrogen-importing nations. The focus of the partnership includes developing joint tendering frameworks to align with India's objective of becoming a Green Hydrogen export hub. The collaboration also explores trade logistics, stakeholder engagement, and global hydrogen market dynamics to propel India's hydrogen economy forward. By leveraging international expertise, particularly from the H2 Global Foundation, India is taking a significant step towards achieving its renewable energy goals and leading in the Green Hydrogen sector.
