The signatories of this agreement, Mr. Sanjay Sharma from SECI and Dr. Susana Moreira from H2Global, are key figures driving this initiative forward. SECI, headquartered in New Delhi, has been instrumental in developing and expanding renewable energy capacity in India since its inception in 2011. With its conversion into a commercial company in 2015, SECI has been actively working under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. On the other hand, H2Global Stiftung, based in Germany, focuses on accelerating markets for clean hydrogen and other low-emission fuels globally. Through activities like fundraising, connecting donors, and advocating for the H2Global mechanism, this foundation plays a vital role in promoting clean energy. This partnership between SECI and H2Global Stiftung is expected to not only drive the green hydrogen initiative in India but also contribute significantly to the global green hydrogen economy, offering India the opportunity to emerge as a leader in the green hydrogen export sector.
