The SIGHT scheme is a financial program under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, with a total allocation of Rs 17,490 crore to support the manufacturing of electrolysers and the production of green hydrogen. The second tranche of the scheme has a budget of Rs 2,200 crore. The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) received bids from 23 companies totaling 2,847 MW, surpassing the offered capacity of 1,500 MW in various technology-based buckets.
