Beyond Aero, based in Toulouse, France, recently secured an additional $20m in a Series A funding round led by Giant Ventures and Bpifrance. The round also saw participation from Initialized Capital, Nate Blecharczyk, Arash Ferdowsi, and several high-profile athletes, bringing the total raised capital to $44m. The company is focused on developing the first hydrogen-powered electric business aircraft, with the successful completion of France's first manned fully hydrogen-electric test flight in February. Their commercial aircraft design, named 'One,' is set to accommodate 6-8 passengers for 800 nautical miles using fuel cells, specifically targeting high-net-worth individuals. Beyond Aero has already secured Letters of Intent for 108 aircraft, amounting to $914m in value.
